"Seven Years Now" get its first review

Courtesy of the May 2009 issue of The Noise: "This is such a great album—full of bittersweet lamentations and twanging guitars. There are a lot of good songs here, so let me name some highlights. “Paper Man” is so beautiful and plaintive—Houlahan is backed by an unnamed female vocalist who adds a haunting dimension. “Rocketship” is another really beautiful track…this is a great album chock full of melancholy but nostalgic tracks and I’d highly recommend it." A note from James: I am pleased to hear they liked it...for the record (ha ha), that unnamed vocalist is Kristen Cifelli. She is named in the credits, but there is a typo regarding the track number for Paper Man...so I understand the confusion. Needless to say, I fired my entire editorial staff because of the mistake! I can't tolerate mistakes like that...Ms. Cifelli has an amazingly beautiful voice. She is definitely on her way to big things! I am so pleased she could be a part of the record.
