From the recording Seven Years Now

Lyrics

I would write you a letter
Where I finally find my voice
But all my words are masquerading
as anything but my choice
I last saw you
seven years now
You slept inside a dream
Take my hand now,
let’s break apart this
frozen tired broken scene
In the evening darkness
I bend my head to the earth
all this spinning, all my emotion
can you tell me what it’s worth?
Floating through
fits of distraction
I spent all of my time
But now I’m reaching
for easy rhyming
and looking for a straight, straight line
